We encourage donations in the form of a check to avoid credit card and website fees. All checks and cash will be logged on the Giving Zone website with 100% of the donation going to Saint Benedict School.
The dance-a-thon event will happen on January 31st during our Way Back Wednesday Dress Down for Catholic Schools Week!
Please see the documents below to share with others!
If submitting a check, please have check written to Saint Benedict Church but have it come into the school's front office.

What are the student goals and rewards?
Student Rewards!
$500 Raised - Week Dress Down and Dance-a-thon Shirt - Week will be announced after the event!
$1,000 Raised - Name on a Brick Tile in Main Hallway + Rewards Above
$1,500 Raised - Hall of Fame Dinner at School for you + two guests and Rewards Above
** Top 5 Individual Students will receive a day to be PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY**
The goal of $500,000 sounds outrageous but with over 300 kids in the school, we could reach more than half the goal if every student was able to raise $1,000. We also have been reaching out to businesses, alumni, and parishioners.
We also are reaching out to big corporations to try and help us!
What will we do with the money raised?
We put down the goal is for capital improvements. This means that all money raised will go to fixing the building. We have drafty windows that are about 30-40 years old. These windows cause cold air to come in and heat to escape. We have classroom lights that could be converted to LED to save on electricity. The plastic coverings around the lights have yellowed and/or cracked and can be replaced. If we reach the $500,000 goal, we could also look into maybe air conditioning and classroom painting.
Why should we get someone to write a check? Who is the check written to?
By writing a check, the school gets more money because using a credit card means there are website fees and credit card fees that will be taken out. If getting a check written, be sure it is to Saint Benedict Church with Dance-a-thon in the memo line.
As you can see, we have many great ideas but we need your help to raise the money to turn these ideas into a reality!
