Recently, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring the contributions of Catholic schools to the nation, recognizing the academic and moral excellence instilled in students and congratulating schools for contributing to a brighter, stronger future for the country. We need your help to ensure that St. Benedict School remains a viable alternative to families who feel the same way. Today, we are struggling to keep tuition levels stable while costs continue to increase.
On average, tuition in the Archdiocese of New York’s elementary schools covers only 65% of student costs. We receive approximately $300 a student (or 6%) from government sources. The balance must be funded by our supporters.
You can join the ranks of St. Benedict School supporters through Champions for Quality Education and form of checks or securities (see below for more information).
Contributions will be added to the St. Benedict School Fund unless otherwise stated and will be used for all St. Benedict School operating expenses unless specifically restricted.
Champions for Quality Education partners with Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of New York by fundraising for capital repairs and academic enrichment programs.
The work of Champions ensures that all Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of New York deliver the programs necessary for student learning and achievement. Our Champions are selfless donors and dedicated volunteers who assist our mission to elevate lives, families and communities through quality education.
